The most commonly requested area, and the one where the assessment matters most, because the word "stomach" covers several different problems.
Bronwyn is looking at how much soft pinchable fat is actually there, how much skin laxity, whether the fullness is upper or lower abdominal, whether the flanks are part of what is bothering you, and what the tissue genuinely feels like under her hands. Some women need more fat-focused work. Some need considerably more skin tightening. Many need both, in a balance that shifts as the area changes.
This matters because the two problems respond to different things. Ultrasonic cavitation works on subcutaneous fat, the soft pinchable layer sitting under the skin. It does not reach the deeper visceral fat around the organs, and it does nothing for skin that has lost its structure. If what you are seeing is laxity rather than volume, radiofrequency does the work instead, by heating the deeper layers and stimulating the collagen response.
Pregnancy, weight loss and menopause all affect the skin over the abdomen, not only the fat beneath it. Reducing volume in an area means paying attention to the skin sitting over it, which is why the two are usually run together rather than one at a time.
Fat-focused changes tend to show sooner than skin tightening, because collagen remodeling takes longer. Results vary from person to person and Bronwyn does not promise specific outcomes.
"I don't automatically cavitate an area just because someone wants it smaller."
My tummy has bothered me for so many years. No matter how much I exercised and watched my diet, it didn't change. Then I thought, let's give it a try. And I'm so glad I did! Bronwyn made me feel so comfortable and relaxed from the start. She goes over in detail how the process works. I look forward to the sessions. It's 90 minutes of being pampered, along with great conversation.
